Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has taken over NutriDutch in Putten. NutriDutch produce intermediate products for the food industry and went bankrupt at the end of 2021. With this capacity expansion, Vreugdenhil wants to focus on the production of high-quality nutritional products, e.g. specialities based on milk, whey and vegetable raw materials. With the acquisition, Vreugdenhil will continue to employ a large number of NutriDutch employees.
The acquisition of the Putten plant will create additional production opportunities, Vreugdenhil intends to serve customers that were previously unacessable due to its size. The plant is expected to come back on stream in the near future.
