Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods’ turnover increased by 50% last year to €1.25bn (2021: €832m). This is the first time that the dairy company has exceeded the 1 billion euro turnover mark. Group profit after tax amounted to €37.5m (2021: €15.3m), which corresponds to 3% of turnover. The company also paid a historically high milk price. The average milk price for 2022 was 58.77c. This milk price applies to 1.1m kilos of milk (4.45% fat and 3.58% protein), including premiums and before deduction of the ZuivelNL levy of 0.5c.
