HERMA’s new online label configurator, which will be presented for the first time at this year’s FACHPACK in Nuremberg, raises the bar by offering commercial users a high degree of format freedom for their digitally printed roll labels – without additional costs for die-cutting tools and without shipping costs within the EU.
Each time a parameter is changed, the price is calculated in real time, without first having to go through the laborious process of logging in or registering
According to Marc Trapp, Team Leader for Industrial Labels Sales at HERMA: “The customised configuration and ordering of rectangular or round labels is completely intuitive. Thanks to the configurator’s compact design, the user is immediately able to see all parameters at a glance without being confronted with unpleasant surprises in the form of unexpected costs at the end, e.g. shipping fees. The user completes the entire ordering process with just a few clicks.”
The label configurator is of particular interest in the case of small and medium-sized label volumes, i.e. for quantities ranging from 2,000 to 250,000 labels. It is also possible to combine different varieties and print motifs in a single order. The HERMA label configurator is therefore not only of interest for large production industries, but also for small companies that sell products via their own online shops. These include, for example, manufacturers of foodstuffs, cosmetics and healthcare products. The possibility of placing complete orders consisting of several different print motifs is particularly advantageous for products with many variants that require different labelling, e.g. chemicals, paints and dyes or consumer goods. Uploading the print data is quick and easy. A technical print data check is included in the price. As an optional extra, HERMA conducts a premium check, carries out the necessary adjustments and creates a print approval PDF.
When launched, the configurator will initially offer six different, extremely versatile label materials made of paper and film.
Concluded Trapp: “We use only self-adhesive material that we have developed and manufactured at our own facilities. In this way, we ensure a consistently high standard – anyone ordering from HERMA can rely on HERMA quality.”
Printing is always performed digitally on modern HP Indigo machines, either in colour (CMYK) or in black and white. Where it is necessary to protect the print motif against abrasion, different finishes can be applied to the labels. The high degree of automation of the entire ordering and production process also ensures short delivery times for the customised roll labels. For commercial customers, the label configurator is available in German, English, French and Dutch on the HERMA website. For more visit hall 3c stand #3c-322 or herma.com
