Nordic dairies to discuss SDG’s at congress

The Nordic Dairy Congress focusses on a selection of the UN Sustainable Development Goals providing presentations from acclaimed researchers and strong business profiles from Arla Foods, Valio, Tine and other dairy companies and suppliers. Until 15 February you can sign up with an Early Bird reduction.

Malmö is 18-20 May host of the 45th Nordic Dairy Congress which is also the 100-years anniversary of the Nordic Dairy Congresses. “Dairy opportunities of tomorrow” is the theme, and the common thread throughout the programme is a relevant selection of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

With more than forty prominent speakers, the programme will guarantee a lot of learnings and take-aways from the two and a half days of conference. On stage are leading researchers and top executives from Arla Foods, Tine, Valio, Norrmejerier and Thise Mejerier. Also, Chr. Hansen is present with CEO Mauricio Graber talking about how to make good business with the SDG’s. The opening sessions Thursday and Friday include panel debates with strong debaters.

Also, part of the programme is half a day visit at Tetra Pak’s impressive site in Lund, which is the company’s biggest business unit with 3500 employees working with processing- service- and packaging solutions.

Registration is reinitiated, and the programme committee expects up to 300 participants. The congress is held in Malmö with gala dinner hosted by the mayor of Malmö in the old and beautiful town hall, Knutssalen.
