Replacing dairy can have a major impact on a product’s taste and texture, which is critical since more than 80% of consumers rank taste as their top priority when choosing dairy alternatives. To address this, the BENEO-Technology Centre team took on the challenge of creating delicious and plant-based alternatives.

One of those innovative creations is a feta-style cheese alternative that delivers the ideal texture, rich taste, and satisfying mouthfeel. This is achieved by blending BENEO’s faba bean ingredients with complementary fibre and rice ingredients. Other creations, such as a dairy-free whipping cream and dairy-free smoothie, also have the capabilities of winning over consumers’ hearts in no time!
