The Theo Müller group of companies apparently paid FrieslandCampina barely the book value for its three production facilities in Germany and the Landliebe brand. This can be seen from the Dutch company’s half-year balance sheet. FrieslandCampina did not make a profit on the sale of the plants in Cologne, Heilbronn and Schefflenz with 675 employees and the Landliebe brand to the Theo Müller group. The sale as of 1 April is reflected in the current half-year balance sheet with a loss of €3m, booked under general expenses.
