FrieslandCampina’s Members’ Council has adopted the financial statements of Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A. for 2023. It also approved the Cooperative Board’s decision to adopt the 2023 financial statements of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V.
Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A.’s annual report was published in Dutch on FrieslandCampina’s website. The company’s annual report was published on 20 February 2024 and can be viewed online. The cooperative’s sphere of operations comprises fourteen districts. Each district has a district council, which consists of ten-member dairy farmers.
The 140 district council members together form the members’ council of Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A. Important decisions by the board require the approval of the members’ council. Each member of the members’ council has the right to vote on behalf of the district. The weight of the vote depends on the amount of milk supplied in the district.
Members of the members’ council have one vote for every ten million kilogrammes of milk that their district supplied to the company during the most recent financial year of the cooperative. With these votes, the members of the members’ council represent all dairy farmers of the cooperative.
