Vitafoods South America joins forces with Fi South America

Informa Markets has announced the first-ever co-located Vitafoods South America and Fi South America, marking the return of Vitafoods to the region in a brand-new format. The landmark event will take place at São Paulo Expo in Brazil between 3-5 August 2027, bringing together leading names in food, beverage and nutraceuticals. By combining the full nutraceutical value chain with Latin America’s leading food ingredients event, the co-located show will create a unique platform for companies across Latin America to build new connections and unlock opportunities for growth and innovation.

A region with growing opportunities

The Latin American functional foods market is fast-growing, forecast to reach US$25.8 billion by 2030, with an estimated CAGR of 6.9% between 2024 and 2030.1 As innovation increasingly crosses traditional category boundaries, there is growing opportunity across food and nutraceuticals — both within each sector and at the intersection between them.

By combining Fi South America’s established regional audience with Vitafoods’ internationally recognised nutraceutical platform, the co-located event will bring together professionals from across the value chain – from ingredient suppliers and manufacturers to finished product specialists and private label partners – creating a single destination to source new solutions, forge commercial partnerships and gain insight into the trends shaping the future of health and nutrition. Speaking on the launch of the co-located event, Gareth Baguley, Vitafoods Brand Director at Informa Markets said, “Latin America’s food and nutrition sector is evolving, and it deserves a platform that reflects the opportunities emerging across the industry. While companies continue to innovate within their specialist categories, many are exploring opportunities at the intersection of food science and nutrition — combining expertise across these areas to create products that meet evolving consumer expectations for taste, health and enjoyment. By bringing Vitafoods South America and Fi South America together, we’re creating a platform that mirrors this evolution, connecting complementary industries, accelerating collaboration and showcasing the exciting innovations emerging from the region.”
