Ausnutria and Royal A-ware have entered into an agreement under which A-ware will acquire a 35 per cent stake in Amalthea. Amalthea is a producer of goat’s cheese, other goat’s milk products and organic cheese made from cow’s milk. Ausnutria remains the majority shareholder with a 65 per cent stake.

As part of the collaboration, A-ware will focus on the national and international marketing of goat’s cheese and organic cheese. Ausnutria will continue to be responsible for the utilisation of high-quality whey proteins. Furthermore, both parties will jointly invest in the further development and expansion of Amalthea’s cheese dairy.

According to the companies, the collaboration is in line with their shared aim of making optimal use of all components of goat’s milk. A-ware brings extensive market knowledge and commercial strength in the cheese sector, whilst Ausnutria specialises in high-quality nutritional applications.
