Ziemann Holvrieka is now using a new tool to record environmentally relevant key figures for tanks used in breweries. “We want to support our customers in identifying emissions, achieving their net zero targets in the supply chain and communicating this,” says Rebecca Hooper. She is Group Sustainability Manager at CIMC Liquid Process Technologies (CLPT), the holding organisation to which Ziemann Holvrieka also belongs.
The tool records the data in detail – from the CO₂ footprint of the raw material supplied and the emissions generated during production to the transport of the tanks to the end customer. The comprehensive analysis enables consistent calculation, allowing Ziemann Holvrieka to subsequently provide the values in the form of a certificate. Companies can use this proof for sustainability audits, for instance.
