Expanding regen range with launch of Dorset Clotted Cream

Golden Hooves is set to grow its range next spring with the launch of a luscious, luxurious and regeneratively farmed Clotted Cream. Joining its line-up of multi award-winning cheeses, crackers and butter, this Dorset Clotted Cream is indulgent and decadent from its golden crust down to its silken centre, bringing full-favoured and future-fit dairy to next summer’s strawberries.

Going all in on taste and texture, so that shoppers never have to choose between quality and conscience, Golden Hooves is here to celebrate the farmers behind their exceptional regeneratively farmed milk. When put to the test at the British & Irish Cheese Awards earlier this year, Golden Hooves Dorset Clotted Cream scooped up a gold award at the first time of asking, as well as picking up a gold award at Taste of the West 2025, with judges enjoying its velvety texture, rich mouthfeel, and clean, subtly sweet creaminess, with a fresh, lactic tang.

Better still, these tasty accolades go hand-in-hand with new and powerful evidence that real change is happening on the ground. Following the recent release of First Milk’s Impact report 24/25, from the farmer-owned dairy co-operative behind Golden Hooves, the organisation has been able to reveal results including a 6% increase in land year-on-year within the co-op’s regenerative programme, up to 89,977 hectares, which would be comparable to 125,000 football pitches. This was accompanied by a potential 78% increase in carbon locked away in the soil, which could be up to 203,000 tonnes CO₂e – the equivalent of planting a staggering nine million trees.
