Fonterra Co-operative Group is maintaining its forecast for a stable farmgate milk price for the 2025–2026 season, having posted strong results for the third financial quarter despite global supply chain disruptions caused by the conflict in the Middle East.
The co-operative is maintaining its average farmgate milk price forecast at NZ$9.70 per kilogram of milk solids, but is narrowing its forecast range to NZ$9.60–9.80, down from a previous range of NZ$9.40–10.00.
“Looking ahead to the next season, we expect milk deliveries to remain at this season’s levels. Our field sales teams anticipate solid demand from all regions, despite possible fluctuations, which is reflected in our forecast range,” said Richard Allen, CEO of Fonterra.
