Ingredion’s commitment to creating an ‘inclusive and supportive work environment’ has seen it recognised for the second year as a Top Employer in the UK and Germany.
Being certified as a Top Employer recognises an organisation’s dedication to creating a better world of work, demonstrated through a commitment to excellent Human Resources policies and people practices.
Said Mike O’Riordan, Senior Vice President, Texture and Healthful Solutions, EMEA and Asia Pacific: “At Ingredion, we believe that our people are our greatest asset, and we are dedicated to fostering a workplace culture that supports their growth, values diversity, and encourages innovation. I am incredibly proud of our team’s effort to create a positive and dynamic work environment”
In Europe, Ingredion demonstrates its commitment to its values through an inclusive and supportive workplace through several dedicated programmes including having access to a range of wellbeing initiatives, such as an employee assistance programme, counselling, and wellbeing training sessions. Employees are also invited to attend ‘Care First days’, which host a variety of sessions that cover health and safety topics such as safe driving training, women’s health, and sees health checks offered.
Awarded by the Top Employers Institute, the programme certifies organisations based on the results of their Human Resources Best Practices Survey. This covers six areas consisting of 20 topics including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equity and inclusion, and wellbeing.
The Top Employer programme has seen 2,300 employers recognised in 121 countries or regions across the world. For more visit Ingredion.com
