Greek dairy company FAGE is planning to build a new production plant in the Netherlands. The new production facility in the Riegmeer Hoogeveen industrial estate, which is expected to cost €150m, will initially have a production capacity of 40,000 tons of yoghurt per year and provide 250 full-time jobs, according to FAGE.
The new dairy is expected to be operational in the second half of 2024.
Founded in Greece in 1926, FAGE has been headquartered in Luxembourg since 2012.
