Private equity investor DUBAG Group has acquired the Syntegon business for the liquid filling of foodstuffs with the companies Ampack GmbH and Osgood Industries, LLC. Ampack, based in Königsbrunn (Germany, photo of the Königsbrunn facility supplied by Ampack), and Osgood, based in Oldsmar (USA), are leading technology providers for the filling of liquid and viscous foods in pre-moulded cups and bottles. Both companies will merge under the umbrella brand Ceratech Group to ensure continued close international co-operation. The parties have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.
