Dr. Mechthild Frentrup has been nominated by the German National Committee as a candidate for the Board of the International Dairy Federation (IDF). A passionate advocate for the future of dairy, she combines more than a decade of Supervisory Board experience at Deutsches Milchkontor (DMK) with academic expertise in agricultural economics and engineering. Throughout her career, she has built bridges between dairy farmers, industry, science and policymakers, with a particular focus on digital transformation, sustainability and resilient value chains. She brings a strong international network and a practical understanding of how policy, innovation and business can work together – and is looking forward to contributing this perspective to the IDF and its global dairy community.
