Swiss cocoa processor and chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut (2024/25 turnover: CHF 14.8 billion) has appointed Hein Schumacher as the group’s new CEO with effect from 26 January. He succeeds Peter Feld.
Hein Schumacher was CEO of Unilever from 2023 to 2025. Before joining Unilever, he held management positions at FrieslandCampina. He was CEO there from 2017 to 2023 and previously served as CFO for two years.
