Albert de Groot (photo: EDA) is the new President of the European Dairy Association, the organisation representing the interests of the European dairy and milk processing industry in Brussels. De Groot is the CEO of Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods. He has also been Chairman of the Dutch dairy organisation NZO since July 2023. He succeeds the Italian Giuseppe Ambrosi as Chairman of the European Dairy Association.
The European Dairy Association brings together the national dairy organisations of 21 countries. The European interest group works from Brussels.
