Kersia has announced the acquisition of the food & beverage business of Radex, representing estimated revenues of €9.5 million in FY 2024.
The strategic transaction supports the Group’s strong growth momentum, with Kersia reporting €695 million in revenues, and further consolidates its position in Eastern Europe and on the Polish food hygiene market, particularly in the meat processing segment.
Founded in 1989, Radex is a Polish family-owned company recognised for its comprehensive hygiene solutions for the food industry. The cleaning and disinfection activity is supported by a dedicated sales team of 14 employees, serving a customer base of 750 clients.
The acquisition highlights the strong strategic fit between Kersia and Radex’s F&B business, in terms of product portfolio, customer coverage and technical capabilities. It will enable Kersia to significantly strengthen its position in Eastern Europe and internationally, while accelerating its development across key food industry segments, including meat processing, dairy and breweries.
During the transition period, Radex will support Kersia Poland’s team ensuring full operational continuity. In the longer term, Kersia plans to further develop cooperation with Radex, particularly in equipment and installation activities, in Eastern Europe and internationally.
Said Sébastien Bossard – CEO of Kersia: “We are delighted to welcome RADEX’s Food & Beverage activities to the KERSIA Group. The trust built with the company’s owners undoubtedly facilitated this transaction. However, it is this trust that will serve as a foundation for future collaboration and growth in complementary areas. I would like to wish everyone an excellent year ahead and extend a warm welcome to the RADEX teams joining our group. We will pay special attention to our relationships with partners and clients to ensure a seamless transition, with no disruption to their experience.”
Added Tomasz Nagay– General Partner of Radex: “After over 35 years of considering the development of Radex, we decided to seek a proven partner who would enable us to continue our stable, secure growth in the future. Thanks to our previous collaboration based on mutual respect, there was only one possible choice – Kersia. By retaining our identity and the opportunity to collaborate with a strong partner, we are convinced that this decision was a very good one. Our joint presence in global markets in the production of technical equipment gives us ample scope to achieve our goals.
We remain partners in a shared journey to improve food biosecurity worldwide.” For more visit kersia-group.com
