Danish strengths on display

Danish companies will showcase innovative solutions within automation, efficiency and work environment at interpack as part of the Pavilion of Denmark – highlighting the breadth and quality of Danish competencies to a global audience.

interpack, taking place from 7–13 May, Messe Düsseldorf, Germany will include a strong group of Danish companies at the joint Danish stand – Pavilion of Denmark. Bringing together 9 exhibitors, the stand offers international visitors a unique opportunity to experience a wide range of Danish solutions within the packaging and processing industries.

Known for their focus on innovation, quality and user-friendly design, Danish companies continue to play a significant role in delivering efficient and sustainable solutions to global industries – something that will be clearly reflected at this year’s exhibition.

Said Rikke Agerholm Therkildsen, Project Manager, Danish Export – Food Tech, organiser of the joint Danish stand: “interpack is one of the most important global meeting points for the packaging industry, and the Pavilion of Denmark provides companies with a strong platform to showcase their solutions internationally. Bringing the companies together creates visibility, strengthens networks and demonstrates the breadth of Danish competencies.”

interpack attracted more than 142,000 visitors from 156 countries when it was last held in 2023,  underlining the exhibition’s importance as a global industry hub.

One of the companies exhibiting at the Pavilion of Denmark is JLM teknik, who are using Interpack 2026 as a stepping stone in its international growth journey. The company is already present in several European markets through distributors in Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, Lithuania and across the Nordic region. The company develops and supplies ergonomic lifting solutions, including vacuum lifters and lightweight aluminium crane systems, designed to improve working environments and increase efficiency in industrial settings – solutions that reflect key Danish strengths within the industry.

Says Jan Bryld, Managing Director at JLM teknik: “We are still in the early stages of our export journey, but we are experiencing growing interest in our solutions. Interpack is an ideal platform for us to both increase visibility among our distributors’ customers and build new international relationships,”

For a smaller company like JLM teknik, being part of the joint stand provides clear advantages.

Added Bryld: “It allows us to be part of a larger context and stand stronger together. At the same time, it opens up valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and networking with other Danish companies that share our international ambitions.”

The Pavilion of Denmark is organised by Danish Export – Food Tech and co-financed by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs – the Trade Council with Food Nation Denmark and Danish Industry as branding partners.
