Elopak’s Board of Directors confirmed that HÃ¥kon Volldal will assume the CEO role earlier than previously communicated, effective November 2, 2026. From this date, interim CEO Bent K. Axelsen and interim CFO Ola Buarøy will return to their previously held positions as CFO and Director of Finance and Tax, respectively.
Håkon Volldal currently serves as President and CEO of Nel ASA. Before that, he held the position of CEO of Q‑Free and several senior leadership roles at TOMRA, including Executive Vice President and Head of TOMRA Collection Solutions. He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
