“Those Vegan Cowboys” reports that the company has received a “no-questions” letter from the US Food and Drug Administration regarding its animal-free casein product, “Margaret’s Finest”. Its research partner, Formo, has also received such a letter. The letter marks the start of the company’s commercial activities in the United States.

“Those Vegan Cowboys” is already collaborating with partners in the food industry, including Hochland and XXL Nutrition. In addition to cheese, “Margaret’s Finest” serves as a platform for protein development with potential applications in sports nutrition, infant formula, coatings and clinical diets. The company is seeking new partners in the food industry to jointly develop new applications.

“Those Vegan Cowboys” has already developed various types of cheese based on “Margaret’s Finest” casein, including mozzarella, sliced burger cheese, cream cheese, feta and Camembert.
