The UK competition authority, CMA, is investigating Danone’s proposed acquisition of Huel. CMA has announced the launch of this investigation by issuing a notice to the parties involved. Interested parties are being given the opportunity to submit their initial views to the CMA on the potential impact of the transaction on competition in the United Kingdom.

CMA has not yet commenced its formal investigation into the transaction. Comments may be submitted until 11 September.
