British animal rights and vegan organisation Viva! has released the trailer for its first anti-dairy documentary and is launching a final fundraising campaign in the run-up to its premiere in September. The “documentary” explores three key themes: the treatment of cows and calves on modern dairy farms, the scientific basis behind some of the dairy industry’s most widely promoted health claims, and the industry’s marketing and lobbying activities. Supporters have already raised more than £25,000 to make the film a reality. Now that filming has been completed, Viva! is launching a final fundraising campaign to make the documentary accessible to a wider audience. According to the charity, further donations will be used for advertising, cinema promotions, distribution via streaming services, media relations, public screenings and campaign materials. The film’s premiere is scheduled for 10 September 2026 in London.
