Santa Fe-based group La Ramada has acquired 100% of La Lácteo, a historic dairy brand from Córdoba, Argentina. Terms remain undisclosed. The purchase follows La Ramada’s 2025 acquisition of a dairy plant in Villa del Rosario, also in Córdoba — the province long associated with La Lácteo. The two deals form part of a wider investment programme.
La Ramada aims to lift industrial processing capacity to 1.05m litres of milk a day before the end of 2026.
The deal marks another step in the consolidation of Argentina’s dairy sector, as regional players scale up processing capacity through targeted acquisitions rather than greenfield builds.
