Danone has inaugurated its Shanghai R&D and Innovation Center in Pudong. It covers an area of ​​5,200 square meters and brings together approximately 130 interdisciplinary professionals, focusing on research across multiple categories including early life nutrition, adult medical nutrition, and drinking water and beverages.

The center houses an integrated R&D laboratory, a 900-square-meter microbiome research laboratory, a 300-square-meter science experience and consumer interaction space, and a 700-square-meter pilot plant.

The center will not only serve the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets but also contribute to Danone’s global research and innovation agenda.
