At Milchwerke Oberfranken West, milk deliveries in 2025 rose to 473 m kg (+5.1 per cent) in the conventional sector and to 83m kg (+0.9 per cent) in the organic sector. Total milk processing amounted to 559m kg (+3.7%).

Cheese sales rose to just over 63,270 tons (+1,800 tons) and contributed significantly to stabilising the result. Turnover stood at €464.9m (+8.2%). Around €12.6m was invested in projects including the construction of a soft cheese production facility at the Meeder-Wiesenfeld site. The export share remained virtually unchanged at around 20 per cent.

The average milk price was 53.17c (in 2024: 50.34c), and in the organic segment it was 67.29c (2024: 60.50c).
