According to the Federal Statistical Office, the fall in prices for livestock and animal products in June amounted to 17.8 per cent (compared with the same month last year); this decline is attributable, amongst other things, to lower milk prices. In June 2026, the price of milk was 25.4 per cent lower than in the same month of the previous year. Compared with the previous month, May 2026, there was no change in milk prices (0.0 per cent).
