Nutrition Impact Report 2025 published

FrieslandCampina has published its Nutrition Impact Report 2025, highlighting progress in improving the nutritional profile of products, expanding access to affordable dairy, and strengthening responsible communication. The report also sets out the ambitions for the coming years and a clear roadmap towards 2030.

Commented Jan Derck van Karnebeek, CEO Royal FrieslandCampina N.V.: “Milk is one of nature’s most complete foods, giving dairy a unique role in nourishing people around the world. Guided by our purpose Nourishing by nature, we take that responsibility seriously. Owned by a dairy cooperative, our strength lies in working together with our member farmers, partners and colleagues to ensure nutrition from dairy is affordable and accessible. The Nutrition Impact Report shows how we are turning our commitment into action to support healthier lives now and in the years ahead.”

Nutrition challenges are becoming increasingly complex, with undernutrition persisting in some parts of the world while unhealthy diets, micronutrient deficiencies and obesity continue to rise globally. FrieslandCampina recognises its role in contributing to healthier and more sustainable food systems by delivering nutritious, affordable and accessible dairy, produced with respect for planetary boundaries. As the years ahead are pivotal for deepening impact, the 2030 Global Nutrition Framework sets out the principles, goals and commitments that guide how FrieslandCampina nourishes people and communities.

The Nutrition Impact Report highlights the steady progress FrieslandCampina has made over the past decade by setting clear nutrition standards, continuously improving product quality, reducing nutrients of concern such as sugar and salt where relevant, and communicating responsibly with customers and consumers.

At the same time, FrieslandCampina continues to prioritise affordability and access to nutrition, particularly for communities facing availability or cost barriers. This includes initiatives such as school milk programmes and route-to-market initiatives, to improve reach of vulnerable groups. For more visit frieslandcampina.com
