Annikka Hurme will retire as CEO of Valio at the end of 2026, bringing to a close her career spanning almost four decades at the Finnish dairy cooperative. Hurme joined Valio in 1989 and held various specialist and management roles before becoming CEO in 2014. Chairman of the Board Vesa Kaunisto said: “Under her leadership, we have successfully transformed and renewed our company, whilst laying a strong foundation for the years ahead.” Matti Lehmus has been appointed as her successor and will take over as CEO on 1 January 2027.
