Oat drink maker Oatly has announced two management changes, apparently in response to shareholder concerns, missed forecasts and the loss of its market-leading role in the US. Current COO Peter Bergh is stepping down to become chief strategy officer. Replacing him is Daniel Ordonez, who comes from Danone and has many years of experience there and at Unilever. The new role of President goes to Jean Cristophe Flatin, who comes from Mars. CEO Toni Petersson remains in office.
A recent Wall Street Journal report described a “chaotic lack of leadership” at Oatly.
