Kalt Maschinenbau AG has appointed René Weber as new CEO North America. Weber brings over three decades of experience in the cheese and dairy sector and has managed leading companies at home and abroad, Kalt announced. His extensive experience includes the design and construction of state-of-the-art cheese production facilities in North and South America.
Weber is a Swiss federally certified master cheese maker and was most recently COO at dairy product substitute manufacturer Miyokos, and before that Production Manager and Vice President at Tillamook County Creamery. From 2016 to 2018, he was Vice President Operations Speciality Cheese at cheese group Saputo and from 2006 to 2015 Vice President Operations at Emmi Roth USA.
