Faber to step back as Danone CEO

Emmanuel Faber will step down as CEO of Danone but stay chairman of the board. Investors have been calling for a change in the company’s management for weeks in view of what they see as the group’s poor performance. Faber is currently both chairman of the board and CEO. The separation of the functions is to take place as soon as a new CEO is appointed.
