Frans van den Hurk has decided to step down and relinquish his position as a member of the Executive Board of Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A. and the Supervisory Board of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. with immediate effect.
The reason for this decision is that Van den Hurk does not agree with the company’s current strategies and that he has not been able to have affect any meaningful change to these strategies over the past eight months.
