Kerfoot has today announced that it will fully transition to its sister company Oleon NV.

Oleon, part of the Avril Group, are an international agro-industrial group based in France, specialising in food, animal feed, energy, and sustainable chemistry. To accelerate its development in natural specialties, Avril has decided to join its two subsidiaries – employees, products, and expertise – under the Oleon global brand.

Said Simon Corner, Commercial & Marketing Director, Kerfoot: “Having been acquired by Avril, we are delighted to now make the further transition into the Oleon brand. It is a natural evolution for our business and an excellent move for the UK team, which will enable us to work together as true innovators in the industry to build long-lasting relationships with all our partners.

“Oleon is a strong, well-recognized worldwide brand in the nutrition and personal care markets. Its rich history combined with its Belgian roots and sustainable solutions will enable Kerfoot’s authentic oils and custom blends to grow and flourish beyond the UK and European markets. Our mission to be the preferred supply partner of refined and specialty oil markets remains unchanged, as we strive to provide best-in-class quality and service under the Oleon name.”

Added Jeroen Dirckx, Managing Director, Oleon and CEO Kerfoot: “This is an exciting time for our business as we begin our journey to build a global brand that brings together a perfect blend of complementary products to support our valued partners, enabling them to grow with us.

“This shared vision and ambition, coupled with our drive to build a sustainable business as part of the Avril Group, enables Kerfoot and Oleon to grow disruptively in the Food, Health and Beauty markets, creating a synergy that will be mutually beneficial to both businesses.”

The Kerfoot Group will fully transition to the Oleon brand name by Q1 2024. For more visit oleon.com
