FrieslandCampina Ingredients will return to Natural Products Expo West with consumer-centric concepts to help inspire nutrition brands. Attendees can explore how the company’s cutting-edge protein and prebiotic ingredients can power appealing formats, including shakes, gummies, ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages and bars. Visitors will also be the first to see the company’s new brain health ingredient – more details to be announced in the run up to Natural Products Expo West.

Awareness is growing that intensive exercise, stress and dietary habits can cause gut discomfort that affects sports performance. Research shows that 86% of athletes suffer from gastro-intestinal issues believed to be associated with stressors such as training and competition.

In answer to this need for athletic nutrition solutions with gut health support, FrieslandCampina Ingredients will showcase Biotis® Fermentis. The first-of-its-kind fermented solution combines the benefits of protein, prebiotics and probiotics to effectively target the gut-muscle axis.
