Rabobank launches the first real-time study on the opinion of Germans on issues related to food security and production conditions. The “Rabobank Food Navigator” will provide regular information on the current mood of German consumers.
Four focus topics
The Rabobank Food Navigator covers four areas: Responsible Production, Efficient and Effective Supply Chains, Conscious Consumption and Banking for Food. In addition, Rabobank has developed the Rabobank Food Awareness Index. It functions as a trend indicator and shows how the awareness of Germans is developing with regard to the four focus topics. The Rabobank Food Awareness Index is published for the first time in June and then updated monthly on the basis of the latest survey data.
For the collection of the data, Rabobank cooperates with Civey, one of the leading companies for digital market and opinion data in Germany. The surveys on all four topics are representative and are conducted online. For this purpose, more than 13,500 participants have already been surveyed since 11 March 2021. The sample size is over 5,000 people.
