Weber Maschinenbau is driving global growth, continuously expanding its product portfolio and steadily enhancing its service and after-sales services responding to customers’ demands for complete solutions with a single contact person for all matters. Rising sales figures prove that this approach meets the requirements and needs of the market, leading to increased and new demands on production within the company. These developments involve increasingly complex corporate processes, including the associated digitalisation, which require a strong and powerful corporate setup. The compamny has therefore decided to expand and restructure its management to be fit for future challenges.

CEO Tobias Weber, CFO Hartmut Blöcher and Jörg Schmeiser will be supported with immediate effect by four executives who will broaden the top management team and occupy important key positions. As Chief Operation Officer, Dr. Michael Hausicke will be responsible for the production processes and requirements of the company. Michael Brandt will assume the role of Chief Technical Officer to advance strategic technological developments. As Chief Sales Officer, Daniel Frank will focus on operational and strategic leadership of sales, after-sales, skinners, and Weber subsidiaries and partners. Robert Schwabe will be responsible for purchasing as Chief Procurement Officer. Jörg Schmeiser, who previously accompanied the role as CSO, will serve in the newly created position of Chief Business Development & Innovation Officer (CBDO). In this role, he will be responsible for portfolio strategy, strategic partnerships and distribution products, as well as product management, business development and marketing.

Said CEO Tobias Weber: “Passionate employees who are experts in their field have always been key to our success. That’s why we have expanded our top management and added important expertise. This will allow us to provide even better support to our global customers and further drive our growth.”

This broader setup will help Weber to focus its tasks more effectively and implement more targeted work structures within the management team. With the help of a continued clear focus on customer orientation, strategic expansion of the portfolio and product innovations, smart production and digitalised processes, the newly formed Weber management team is well poised to successfully align the company with future customer and market requirements.  For more visit weberweb.com
