The upcoming Sustainable Foods Summit will discuss the future direction of the plant-based and organic food market. There is growing consumer interest in plant-based foods because of their ethical & environmental credentials, whilst organic foods are expected to play a more important role in the European food industry.

The 12th European edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit will be hosted on a dedicated online platform. This new edition will showcase major sustainability developments & innovations in the food industry. Topics on the summit agenda include COVID-19 impacts, plant-based proteins, sustainable packaging, food diversity, regenerative agriculture, sustainable ingredients, ethical supply chains, retailing best-practices, and consumer insights.

The 2021 Sustainable Food Awards will be co-hosted alongside the summit. Organised by Ecovia Intelligence (formerly Organic Monitor), the Sustainable Foods Summit is an international series of summits that focuses on the leading issues the food industry faces concerning sustainability and eco-labels, such as Organic, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, etc. Other editions in this international edition will be hosted in Latin America (22-25 Nov 2021), North America (19-20 Jan 2022), and the Asia-Pacific (5-6 Sep 2022).  For more visit sustainablefoodssummit.com/Europe/
